How long would it take for the morning/afternoon commute going from Herndon to Tysons (495/7 area). Also I have heard summer traffic is different would this also effect 267 traffic?

If non-rush hour times, it will take 15-20 minutes (depending on where in Herndon you're coming from). During rush hour, probably 35-45 minutes if taking Route 7, and then maybe shave 5-10 minutes off if taking the Toll Road.
Summer traffic is indeed different than non-summer traffic and it affects all of the DC area's roadways (and I'm imagine, most of the nation's roadways as well). There's about another month left of lighter traffic before it's back to the norm. |

Summer traffic is indeed different. When the school buses start rolling again its a whole different ball game. Remember people will use secondary roads to avoid jams on the primary roads. You know, the path of least resistance!
