Near Alexandria, I often see a small green window sticker with a white WW on it.

I've also seen a small sticker with a cartoon fox's head.

Another one (seen frequently in N. Arlington) is a black rectangle with a blue line through it.

Are these membership stickers for clubs? Condo parking lot stickers? Something else? Just curious.

The black rectangle with a blue line is law enforcement. The small green WW sounds like an HOA parking sticker.

The green rectangle with white "WW" is displayed (rather smugly by some) by Waynewood residents. Waynewood is a neighborhood just north of Fort Hunt National Park, off GW Parkway.

It was a happy day when I removed that decal from my car.

Ah! Thank you both! Very interesting. I would never have guessed either one.

So glad you cleared that up! One of my neighbors told me it was supporting something a lot different - not listening to her anymore!

There is also another one becoming popular. It's a dog paw with a blue line through it. Signifies law enforcement K9.

The cartoon fox usually indicates a driver with an equestrian interest, in ye olde country flavour of foxhunting.

I've always thought that people put law enforcement stickers on their cars in hopes of catching a break if they get pulled over for speeding.

Definitely a better move than the "Bad Cop, No Donut" sticker I saw one time.
