Given that some of us speak this way, perhaps it's also no surprise we've ended up with Korean-Cuban fusion restaurants, and some would take the position that NoVa's best-known food is pho. I have to say I like it better than the peanut soup that you can find in some parts of the Commonwealth.
Or American Pho, in which the beef is actually... beef!

Sic semper tyrannis! Death to Tyrants!

As an aside on the subjects of Official Virginia Images: *All* the Governers' paintings in the State House are formal and fabulous except Tim Kaine's, which looks like a Men's Warehouse ad-Yuck!Its even in pastels-eww!

LOL even way back then they knew Virginia was for Lovers!

...speaking about lovers, I read somewhere recently that our suburbs have the highest birth rate in the country. Which is a distinction,I guess. Also ironic, considering how we often you see posts about the burbs being so sterile...

That's hilarious. "Sterile"... I am going to use that. I'll attribute it to "this person on the internet."

Do you remember where you read that bit?

So we have the highest median household income, fastest growing counties, the fittest population and now the highest birth rate...

This is now officially the Tiger Mom region.
