How do i work this thing!! (title, top, limit)

I'm learning that the thread is my new addiction. But I can't figure it out!

I know, it's like a contradiction.

How do I "search" for something I would like comment on, or for the post I've already done to see the response?!

lets hope I can find this, if I get any responses.

You can find all the posts you've written by going to any of your posts and right clicking your name. If you are searching for a specific post written by someone else and can remember a specific word from that post (preferably something that isn't used every day) you can use the search engines. You find them at the heading titled "search in this forum" or the one titled simply "search". They're both in the upper right hand corner. If you want more instructions beyond this, the city-data FAQ has detailed instructions.

Great! Isn't there something like a "index" type thing. Gives you all the different options topic-wise?

All I've ever found necessary was to click the top Search link, then click Advanced Search halfway down the box. Type in keywords, the poster-name, and the forum to search, and off you go. You can limit it by time as well. Once you've been around for a while, that can come in handy...
