Me and my family are moving to NOVA. applied for a RN job at inova. Can you pls recommend a nice safe area, family oriented near fairfax hospital, near fair oaks or near mt. vernon hospital.

My husband is working near Endsall..but we prefer i drive less to work. Also have a 18 mos old.
We are looking for a 2br/2ba apartment, townhouse/condo for rent, any suggestions please?

Also Does anyone have any idea what are the rates of a new Rn and Experienced RN in INOVA or anywhere in NOVA?

Thanks A LOT

It would be a lot easier if you can give us a budget that you had in mind. Also, Mt. Vernon hospital is quite far from Fair Oaks, so our advice would likely be different depending on which location you work at.

Our budget to rent a townhouse or apartment is around 1600s.
WE are looking more of a family oriented, safe community.
I probable would end up working at Fairfax, just got a job offer today. THanks

Congrats on the job! $1600 is pretty low around here for a townhouse or even a two-bedroom apt. I'm thinking somewhere around Springfield or Burke or maybe even Woodbridge. I hope others chime in because I am not as familiar with those areas as others on this board.
