I know that there are a ton of Kabob places around but this one opened up about 2 months ago in a crappy shopping center at the corner of Rt. 29 and Manassas Dr. Well, my husband and I decided to give it a shot because I LOVE GYROS!

Yeah - you know where the Guapos is right there on the corner? It's that old shopping center with Joes Pizza and Subs in front? I think it has Aarons Rent a Center or something as well... Anyways - it's at the far end. It was really, really good...and yep - I did mean Rt. 28....it was probably a little too early to be writing plus I was a little too hungry... Ok, I'm still a little too hungry and I still have only those darn, stinkin' carrots!

Thanks for posting! Ok, I'm feeling a little dumb, but I never realized that kabob places would have gyros! I always just pictured...meat and veggies on a stick!

It is an Afghan Gyro, so it is kind of like fresh homemade cross between Naan bread and a flour tortilla - it is not pita bread at all. It's different from a regular gyro....but it is sooooo good. OMG, I just finished off these carrots and celery and now I"m even more starved!
