With all of the talk about how much rain we were going to get today, we've had just one little shower. Not even enough to really get the sidewalk wet. I'm wondering where all the rain went or if it just missed us. I thought we were supposed to have "inches" by now.

Lake Ridge had a pretty strong rain for about an hour. Also had some loud cracks of thunder and high winds for a while.

I guess it was just really scattered. I was expecting heavy rains. Last night, today was supposed to be a wash out and it ended up being sunny most of the day here where I am in Springfield. Late this afternoon it rumbled a bit, but that was about it. A little shower and it is sunny again. I was just curious.

We had a lot of rain in the Ashburn area - mostly between 2 and 5 pm.

You are not alone wondering about the rain. Actually, I have been wanting to see some decent rain in this area for a while now. (Springfield) oh well..

You guys didn't get any? Wow, we must have been the rain hogs today. We got drenched, drenched, and thoroughly drenched.

Anyone here how much fell? It felt like at least a few inches.

I can't say we didn't get any. It was a little shower that didn't get anything wet under the trees, cars, etc. I watched the weather last night and they were showing rain totals between 1.5 and 3 inches. It's not that it bothers me, I guess I just find it interesting how yesterday was really a pretty nice day and basically dry for us.
