I was rattling around on Craig's list today in the part-time work listings and came across this:

"While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms."

Thank God I've had special training in all these areas.

I'd make a crack about what GS grade this corresponds to...but I'd probably have half the forum ready to hang me.

I'm so sorry. We don't have any openings for a supervisory position at this time.

While this ad kind of makes me laugh, you're correct. My cousin could not do several of those things (sit for certain time periods, stand for certian time periods, etc) because she was hit by a drunk driver. She's very smart though!! But information like that on a job advertisement would be greatly appreciated by her.

Well, I can think of someone who can do only two of those things, sit and hear. However, that person happens to be arguably the most brilliant mind alive today, the renowned physicist Stephen Hawking

Then I guess he's not interested in driving a truck for Penske part-time.
