Leesburg to BWI (taxi, airport, authority)

What would be the best way to get to BWI Aiport?

Does Dulles Airport any sort of metro or shuttle to there?

Is my best bet... driving/metro/amtrack??

There is a Dulles-to-BWI shuttle. Figure $65 one-way. Taxi would be about $100 one-way. It's about a 60-mile drive. East on I-267 to I-495, 495 clockwise (inner loop) to I-95 North, 95 to I-195 East, and there you are.

The Airports Authority does not provide a dedicated shuttle between the airports

so you have to use a private company. It's a long drive but many people do it becasue BWI seems to always have lower rates.

There's no good way. If a hired car is an affordable option, do that.

There is actually a flight between IAD and BWI. It's the shortest regulary scheduled flight in the U.S. 15 minutes. I think it's United.
