There are two-bedroom units there, so you might get lucky--in which case you'd have a super-easy commute and North Arlington schools. (I'm guessing that a 2BR there would go for at least $1800.)

I've had my eye on that place for a while now. I would love to know more about it.

My info is several years out of date, but it was overall pretty decent. There were a few annoyances (e.g., no washer/dryers in the units, except for a handful that were grandfathered in; you have to use a laundry room on each floor, which uses tokens, which you have to buy via personal check only; a pool that closes in the early evenings; barking dogs; a rule against moving into or out of the building on a Sunday). That said, good location, some nice foliage views, a nice tennis court. A mix of singles, divorcees, and a few couples--almost no kids. (I think that's mostly because, like most condos, the largest units are only 2BR. It overall seemed to be pretty safe and kid-friendly.)

When we were there, the board president had some kooky idea for a fence around the building on the first floor (which, surprise, is his floor), but we never saw it go up. They were also talking about a special assessment to replace all the 1960s-era windows; no idea if that ever happened. Outdoor parking was first come, first served, but there were garage spots for rent as well.
