what bothers me about them is that they don't mark down there produce, when it is getting old--they just let it sit. The low end wine selection is nothing like what made them famous. There brand and Charles Shaw dominate the low end--no more Australian or Chilean gems for 3 buck per bottle. It also appears to be one of the very few places that likes to hire people with visible tattoos and shock piercings. How you could make 9.50 per hour and live anywhere near Clarendon is beyond belief.
This is the chain that is taking TJs customers big time. Maybe it won't take 15 years to bring one to NoVa. Welcome to Sprouts Farmers Market

YESSS. Love Trader's Joe's. But Why Clarendon...I think Ballston would've been a more suitable neighborhood. Clarendon gets everything.

I shop at the one in Old Town all the time and don't see that. I talk to the young people working there and a lot of them are very nice college students working their way through school. They don't look or accessorize much differently than the other younger folks around here. You sure you're not projecting this from what you're seeing somewhere out West? As I recall you don't live here anymore. Have you ever even been to a Trader Joe's here?

We live maybe 3 miles from Clarendon, and we'll keep going to the Bailey's Crossoads TJ or the one in Falls Church. Easier parking than I expect this one will have. And we don't like tiny, crowded grocery stores.

I've been there! A hidden treasure. Crowded, but great if you work downtown (as I used to). And right on the Ciruculator route.

I shop there during lunch
It should be less crowded these days, since everyone is at the new WF
