Default Pet Friendly Areas

Is N.VA. a pet friendly place, especially Fairfax,Ashburn and Leesburg? We need a rental TH in a safe, family friendly area that will take four small dogs. If we can't we have to give away at least two of our beloved companions which is breaking my heart and my son's. Thanks.

While the area is pet friendly, it may be hard to find a rental that allows more than one pet even if they are small (at least that was our experience when looking for places to rent temporarily). We found our rental through Craig's list.

Did you have dogs and if so, how many? Do you think two would be a problem in a private rental?

I had two dogs in a private rental. Fortunately, the person I rented from was fine with it, but it was hard to find a place that would allow 2. Good luck.

Dogs can be an issue. However, depending upon your price range and where you'd be willing to live, it shouldn't be impossible. Rental listings are specific as to what their stance on pets is. Searching for pets allowed listings and then talking with the agents of those properties usually leads to success. Consult a realtor with a lot of experience with rentals. A different set of emotions exists with rental vs. sales.
