Anybody using Sprint? I currently have Verizon, and in Aurora Highlands (specifically Addison Heights, between 23 and 20th Streets), I'm getting between 0-2 bars. Where I live near 23rd, I am getting 0-1 bars. Thinking about switching to Sprint. Can anybody comment on whether it's decent in NoVA? And specifically whether its decent in Addison Heights?

Also, how is Sprint in DC proper? And does it work on the metros? Verizon is great for me pretty much everywhere except Addison Heights. Problem is, that's where I live, and it's kind of important that I get a decent signal where I live.

Thanks for any feedback.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never heard of Aurora Highlands or Addison Heights. Is my "locals license" in jeopardy?

Ridge road, Pentagon row, and area.

Why sprint? Why not AT&T?

I have sprint, and have been very happy with it. When I lived in Crystal City (26th street) I had full service in my house, in the neighborhood, and on the metro. Sprint's roaming service is Verizon, so anywhere the sprint network is week it will pick up Verizon.

Good question. I guess because I've always heard such terrible stories about AT&T service that I hadn't even considered it. Whereas with Sprint, I feel like I hear that in places that they have services, it's generally decent.

Thanks for the info.

Verizon is also generally good in Crystal City itself... it's when you go west of Fern and north of 23rd that things get questionable (for me, at least).

I use AT&T all over NoVA and their service is fine, except - no underground metro coverage.

Before that I used Verizon, which was also decent.
But their phone selection is limited to CDMA units, which is a major turn off.

Nothing seems to work all the way down the GW parkway to Mount Vernon. We're 15 miles from the power center of the free world and "hello?...".
