who picks up my trash? (new resident in Orange Hunt W. Springfield) (neighborhood)

I don't want to have to wait until I close / move in to set this up.
The county says it's not them and suggested I call around the 15 private collectors to find out who collects... is this how people set up their trash?
Or can someone tell me what company services the Orange Hunt area?

First, welcome to the neighborhood! There seem to be two companies that service our neighborhood. We use American. They do trash/recycling on Mondays, trash only on Thursdays, and yard waste on Wednesdays. It is slightly less if you don't do the second trash day, but I think it's worth it just for the smell in the summer. We have been happy with our service and they aren't super uptight about the rules.

The other company is AAA. For some reason I have seen Waste Management trucks, so perhaps they serve us too, but American and AAA seem to be the most popular.

It seems like both companies come around the neighborhood trying to one-up another, so even if you start out with one company, the other one will eventually offer you a better deal.
