Default church related question

A quick little background info, I am a 27 year old guy that recently divorced (June) and I have decided I am wanting to get back into church. I am looking for suggestions of churches with larger, active singles groups. I was raised protestant, but I am not picky on which if any denomination. I am not looking to find dates. I am looking for some people that I can have their good influence rub off on me and befriend ( or I can corrupt them). I need active, social group or else I know I will not keep going to church. I have tried Mclean Bible and it is too big for me. So that one is out. I live near Fair Oaks Mall, but I am open to any place in Northern Virginia. I have no problem driving a ways if I find the right place. I have tried a few different churches near where I live and they are all more young couples near my age.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Honestly, that's a pretty common thing to find in churches. If there's an active singles ministry, it usually works well and people are married up by 27. (Not all, but a large percentage).

I attend Venture, a service at Immanuel Bible Church. It's all young 20/30-somethings. There are small groups for married couples, but also single groups as well. They're also really good about putting together events for everyone like ultimate frisbee, service projects, and retreats.

VENTURE ONLINE

I really, really like the sermons that Danny (the pastor) preaches. They're very Biblically based, applicable to life teachings. I also like that the series we do are on whole books of the Bible, as opposed to a theme. Personal preference, but I like it better that way.
