I've been out of touch with an old friend for years. The last I heard they were a student at the Art Institute of Washington, in Arlington.

Do they have a campus mail center like many colleges, and would I just send a letter to them c/o of the Institute?
(And it would surely get delivered to the dorm room)
Should I send it certified mail to make sure it reaches my old friend?

Thanks.

They do not have a central mail facility to reach students' residences. You may want to contact the Department of Student Affairs and ask how to best contact your friend.

I visited their website and saw they do have on campus housing.

But my friend may not live on campus. (?)

I'll try to contact someone at the above department, and see if a letter to their office, etc. could be successful in reaching them.
Or other advice they have.
