HI - I would like to get anyone's feedback on the private kindergarten program offered at Haymarket Baptist. Considering it for my son. I believe the class sizes at Haymarket Baptist are almost the same as in public.

Also what is the deal with holding back your child (mostly boys) and extra year before they start school?

Any info (pro/cons) would be great! Thanks!

Looks like there is a difference in class size, but about the same student:teacher ratio. HBCPK's website shows they have 3 kindergarten classes with 12 kids each and one teacher aide split among the three (maybe someone else can confirm). My daughter is in Kindergarten at one of the local public elementaries and she started the year with 25 kids in her class, but now has 20. They have one full time teacher and aide for that class.
