Default recommendations for rentals in alexandria/annandale/falls church/springfield area

hi all,

i am new here. i am from northern va and would like to move closer to my job in mclean. from my searches, it seems like the alexandria/falls church/annandale/springfield areas seem to be the most affordable while still being close to everywhere i would need to go to.

would anyone have any recommendations on places where i could rent 1br/1 ba condos/apartments within a price range of 700-1050? i plan to live alone and preferably not in the basement of someone's apartment.

i've seen so many bad ratings on the apartment ratings websites, but i feel as though half of the people who post on there are just the complainers.

any feedback is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

dont listen to apartment ratings, like always the negative people are the most vocal ones.

Good luck on your search.
