Anyone familiar with this area? Bad, good, okay? Looking at townhouses in the area and one is located off Sabin Drive. I know the townhomes in that area are a little older. More concerned with whether it's considered one of those shady areas such as Coverstone, Georgetown South, Iron Gate, etc.

I'm coming from Woodbridge (Lake Ridge area) so I'm familiar with living in an area that has good and bad pockets, although I don't live in a bad one now and don't really want to move to one.

Thanks.

I believe that area is actually Sudley (although again like we've discussed elsewhere none of these names mean anything). Its outside what most people would consider "manassas proper" though.

I have a lot of friends who live in Bristow. They love it, I love hanging out with them. They have lots of space and do bbqs all the time. Bristow is secluded away from the traffic and ugliness of Sudley drive. I am not sure about Sudley though. I dont particularly love that side of 234.

Its a nice little neighborhood if you are aware that commuting to DC or inside the beltway will be hell.

As long as you know this, and hopefully dont have a job that requires that, then I say

You'll love it.

It's not a bad area but it certainly has some calls for service in the area. It backs up (sort of) to an apartment complex which causes a few extra problems in the area but again nothing overly serious.
