Say, I leave at 9 AM or after from Brambleton and leave at 6:30 PM or after form McLean (on the way back). What would be some average commute times with and more importantly, WITHOUT the greenway (I would be taking exit #7, when I do).

I am trying to find a way to make it a 75 round trip commute time on an average. At least, that's my hope/expectation.

Some of the people I know use 28 to 267 (toll road). Traffic on Route 7 up till Toll Road is not bad however once you hit Toll Road and Spring hill due to construction and lane shift it slows everyone down. I have sat in the traffic sometimes for about 15 mins just to pass from Toll Road to Gallows road. I think approx. it takes about 50 mins. to an hour. On the way back it is bit worst since the sun comes into the eyes so about an hour.

Second option would be Loudoun Transit has now bus to the Tyson's corner area.

If you leave at 9 and go to wax pool-28-the regular toll road with the 75cent toll, it should take you no more than 30-35 Mins to hit McLean.

If you take 7, I'd still say about 35-40 mins max. Traffic should be died down significantly by then.

Leaving at 630 to come from rt 7 will def be a breeze!
