I just moved to Arlington, and I have only met a couple of people so far. Unfortunately, none of them seem to be football fans (what is wrong with this world). To make things worse, there is no TV where I'm staying. So, I'm probably going to have to fly solo to a bar to watch the Super Bowl. Because I have to watch the game...

About me: 22/m just graduated college and moved out here. Living near Courthouse.

So, any suggestions on where to go? I realize this could be awkward, but I'd like to minimize it and try to enjoy myself somewhat. I'm "poor" so a cheaper place would be nice...if that means dirty so be it, not looking for anything fancy!

Go to the Washington Post's web site and look for the "Going Out Guide" -- it'll have ideas on where to watch the game.

(And for those people who are not interested in football, it also is supposed to have a listing of non-tv bars where you don't have to put up with all that smack talk!)

I guess you already know about Velocity Five, practically down the street from you? Not cheap but at least convenient for you.
