Off of 7100 Fairfax County Parkway, past the Springfield Mall exit.

How long would it take? 45 minutes? an hour? longer?

Work time: 9 to 5 PM.

It takes me 40 minutes to get to Lorton from Greenbriar. it used to take me the same time to Lorton from Reston as it did to the area you describe from Reston going straight down 7100. I would estimate more like an hour from Brambleton.

Assuming you use the Dulles Toll Road to the Fairfax County Parkway, I think planning for 60-70 minutes under normal conditions is appropriate.
