Tech - FYI: flyers in the mailboxes today warning about the widening proposal of turning Belmont Ridge into a 6 lane road from rte 7 all the way through Brambleton.

NC, I was in the neighborhood yesterday. I should say I am impressed with the atmosphere. At the outset, it just looked perfect for family living (my kind of place. I don't like buzzing places where people are running for their lives all the time).

I started from Route 7, took a left on Belmont Ridge road all the way down, then back to 267 via Old Ox Road.

I have seen lot of construction going on Belmont Ridge rd and did see a hoarding planted at the intersection of Crosson lane about proposed 6 lane hearing. I should say that was the only bright light about the Road. I felt the current 2 lane is the biggest -ve factor. I hope they get more lanes soon.

I drove into Moreland estates. It looked a nice little community but lots looked little cramped.

I drove little bit on Crosso Lane just to get a feel but did not get into any community.

We are open to both new construction and existing homes, hopefully we finalize something in the coming months.
