How early in a.m. to get parking at Vienna metro?

There have been all of 9 incidents in the history of metro with the rails. There have 13 deaths due to these 9 incidents (I believe I did say a dozen or so deaths not 5 accidents, not sure where you pulled that outta). This is the entirety of incidents with metro rail that had to do with the operation of the rail system.

13 deaths from car accidents would be a good WEEK in this area, let alone 40+ years.

The reason I am lecturing about this is because a lot of false information is put out there about a system, that while it has flaws, IS DEFINITELY NOT UNSAFE. No I have absolutely no affiliation towards Metro, I just know that without it this area would suck balls, and hate when people want to bash it without actual context.

Wooptie do, you lived in NOVA before there was a vienna station, So have I, and so have tons of people. The more important thing to notice here is you no longer live in this area, so I could care less about your opinion about the on goings of this region which puts you in the same class of other whiners that come around here just to bash this region. Good, not every region has to be the consensus favorite for everyone.

Where I pulled "5 incidents" was your assertion that the number of incidents on Metro can be counted on one hand. (One hand has five fingers BTW).

The rest of your post doesn't merit a response, except for future reference, you should know the correct statement is "I couldn't care less."
