Short time lurker here, but I think NOVA has some of the worst drivers, ever. I'd love to hear what you guys think of them.

I've seen others investing in dash cameras now for insurance purposes or whatever, and I got myself one too for cheap. I don't even drive that much, but in the short time I've been filming I got a few decent clips and put em on youtube. If you guys enjoy that kind of entertainment check it out

watch in FULLSCREEN, it's nicer

Looks like you could do less lane-changing and learn not to follow so closely.

Also, the mid-Fairfax City intersection you seemed to tape a LOT is probably one of the most confusing intersections internal to Fairfax County - it is not surprising at all to see all sorts of lane changes there as drivers try to decide if they want left lane, right lane, left lane, WHAT lane as they go through.

In such situations the onus is on YOU to understand the traffic flow and deal with it; the other drivers are ALWAYS going to be confused there.

Fun to watch, but I've never lived in a city where people didn't think they had the worst drivers. (btw, you changed lanes in the middle of an intersection @ 3:05)

If you hadn't covered up the plates then the video could dispel the myth that it is only MD drivers who are bad.

While I agree we do have some "bad" drivers here.. While watching your video I often wondered how fast you were going. In one of the scenes when the silver dodge "pulled out in front of you" The speed limit said 35.. what were you going? And what was wrong with stopping for crossing geese? I will say one of my pet peeves is people changing lanes or turning with out a signal and I saw that way too much in your video.

When that red car starting turning in front you you were easily 10 cars back...ease off the gas a bit and the whole scene is a non-issue....there were a couple other scenes like this in your video (like the last one).

The SUV stopped at the flashing yellow was pretty funny though.

I'm always on the look out for people who can't drive. Slow down and back off the bumpers of the cars in front of you.

When people do that here I blare my horn at them.

Around 0:23 you express your angst over a vehicle being stopped unnecessarily far behind the rest of traffic, blocking your exit from a parking lot. I also see straight across to the Exxon station where another vehicle (that has been waiting longer than you) is also attempting to turn left out of THAT parking lot, yet YOU proceed to go first? Also, the minivan around 0:37 appears to have non-Virginia plates (Wisconsin, perhaps?). I get angry when "local yokels" do stupid things while driving; however, if the person in front of me is from out-of-state I'll ALWAYS cut them additional slack, realizing they're probably tourists and/or new to the area and just don't know their way around.

P.S. Is it sad that I keep watching this video over and over again just because I love the music?

I guess you've never driven in a real big city if you're complaining about all those little things. Drive in Boston/NYC or better yet a foreign country and you'll realize it isn't so bad in this area.
