I'll take a wack at this question- and IANAR©®.

For 750 there isn't much. Closest I can find with public transportation in an ok neighborhood is Dale Forest apartments in Dale City VA- there is a bus to get you to metro although you'll have to leave at like 5am.

Also there's Melrose on Route 1 in triangle, their 1 bedrooms start at 700. http://www.apartmentguide.com/apartm...Melrose/13569/

Quantico court in quantico is 635 for a 1 bedroom and look pretty decent and renovated Quantico Court Apartment Rentals

I also know as you go up/down route 1 and in that quantico area there are little apartment complexes with only 12 units or so that don't advertise- stop in during normal business hours to the office and see if you can catch someone and work something out. As long as you have a stable job someone will rent to you these days.

Good luck, sir!
