Hi All

I am planning to purchase a house/tomehome in Soth Riding but after reading thru couple of threads about commute time to DC and to FF during rush hours makes me little bit worry though I mostly remote or travel out of town for my work.

I would like to know few additional details to make final call on this location so I would greatly appreciate if some one can provide some answers to my questions.

1. Are there any kids soccer clubs in SR or near by? If near by then how long the commute is during evenings or weekend?

2. Are there any swimming sessions available for my sons who are of age 7 & 2 in SR?

2. Are there any good pediatricians in SR?

3. How bad the commute during weekend to Target/walmart/kohls/Macy's.

1. Loudoun County Soccer, Loudoun Soccer > Home. They play on several fields in SR.

3. During the weekend I don't think the commute is bad to Target or the new Walmart. For Kohls you are either going to Fairlakes or Manassas. Fairlakes can be a bit of traffic on the weekends, especially with all the construction going on. Kohls in Manassas is probably an easier drive. I think the only Macy's is in Fair Oaks?

There are also plans to build the Arcola Center, The Arcola Center - Home . They have only started the townhomes/condos, so it may be a while for the shops, but there is supposed to be a Target, Walmart, and Kohls there: http://www.klnb.com/propDocs/4968.aspx.

There's a Macy's (and a bunch of other stores) at Dulles Town Center which probably takes about the same time to drive as Fair Oaks on weekends.

I can't name any pediatricians from personal experience but I do know there are several that have offices in the area/neighborhood.

I do know there are options for swim lessons and swim teams at the neighborhood pools. I'm not sure about cost. There are also gyms in the area you could join which have swim classes.
