Could anyone recommend a good place to rent a party tent from? We're in Arlington but could drive a bit to pick it up (unless the tent place sets it up for you).

Thanks in advance.

Are your C-D friends invited?

Seriously, I've always heard of Brooke Rental, but have never used them.

ETA: I was just thinking you can check Craigslist, and sure enough, there are a few on there:

MichGC, thanks! (I know from trying to rep you on that other thread that I need to rep a few others first.)

We rented a bounce from this place, Mid-Atlantic Adventures: rock wall rental, bungee jump rental, inflatables rental, moonbounce rental, and they also have tents. We were very happy with their service.

Years ago our swim team used Capital Party Rentals, Classic Party Rentals :: Washington, D.C., for an All Star meet. They are based in Chantilly but cover the whole metro area and do come and set up and take down. At least it's another data point for cost comparison.

Go for the moonbounce and the climbing wall, Carlingtonian. Throw convention to el derecho!

Gamman, Choff--thanks for those suggestions!

Fern, we actually had thought of renting a moon bounce, but we're not sure there'll be enough kids to make it worthwhile.

Incidentally, the "moon bounce" is something I used to do out of car windows in college.

Classic Tents is a good place as well, that will work with or without a caterer. You can rent just the tent from them, or tent plus furniture. I think that they can also supply different tents, such as see-thru or colored, in addition to the traditional white tents that most places rent.
