I live in the State of Virginia, my apartment complex have a web portal in which the tenant pays rent and renew their lease online. Sixty days prior to the end of my lease, my leasing agent contacted me to see if I would vacate the apartment. I explained to the leasing agent that 60 days is too far out and I am not sure if I will be vacating the apartment. The leasing agent replied, indicating that I will have three days to reach a decision. Three days after that conversation, I was contacted by the same leasing agent regarding renewing my lease. At that point, I indicated that I would vacate the apartment. However, two weeks later, I logged-in the online web portal to pay my rent and I noticed that the option to renew my lease was still available, so I signed the renewal. After signing the lease, I received an email confirmation that the lease renewal was accepted. Two days after signing the lease renewal, I received a phone call from the leasing agent indicating the lease renewal didn't go through, because he leased my apartment to someone else. I replied I believe that the renewal did go through because I received confirmation that it was accepted. He replied, that the confirmation was an automated response .Then, I requested a written notice to terminate the renewed lease. I have not received a written notice from the management company terminating the renewed lease. Do I have to vacate the apartment

Two things: 1) Read the opening pages of the attatchment, and 2) be dialing one of the phone #s in the document by 8:59 this AM.
Best of luck.
