If you pick Fredericksburg, stick with anything west on rt3. I don't care what anybody says, traffic is HORRIBLE in the central park (rt.3/i-95) area. I hate having to go there. I'm glad we moved to Culpeper from Fredericksburg last year. We lived on 17south/Massaponax and it was worse than DC traffic. Try going through there anytime near rush hour, good luck.

there is a nice community of of Rt 1 and harrison. Fairly new developement....Idle Wild also both the Ryan homes side and Somerset side are very very beautiful. Again i know alot about the Somerset and Ryan side because my uncle is a co-owner in Somerset. Its a very nice, spacious lots and beautiful beautiful homes. And the ryan side is pretty much already built. They are trying to have a throw back community where people live in town houses and own small shops underneath. Pretty neat actually.

Somerset? I've heard some interesting rumors about that company... isn't half of it splitting off and changing names or something? And for this guy's price range, I'd say the side of Idlewild behind the Home Depot would be better... (Or are the two sides connected now?)

You are right Eric, Somerset has split. I know that the development in King George they have is now listed as Westbrooke Homes.
