I'm sorry your friend hurt himself--and as his friend, I hope you have pointed out to him repeatedly that he did so by stepping on his own nuts. (I would get years out of that joke.)

It's Friday night, folks!

Wow! I'd say I'm surprised, but...

There was a Simpsons episode where Homer says that's his favorite song. I think it ties for the title of "most ridiculous song ever" with "Whoop! There It Is." (Which is disturbingly catchy.)

Acually, I advised him to gain some weight. When yours truly steps on an acorn, said acorn is mashed flat as a pancake. No falls are possible.

Only for lighter folks like my buddy are acorns like ball bearings...

You can donate them (at least, oaks were on the donation list last time we had a bumper crop five or so years ago when I did this):

Seriously, what's up with all the acorns? I don't remember this happeninig last year. This year, it's crazy how they've been coming down all at once. It wakes us up at night. Did I just not notice in previous years? Or was it more spaced out?

Is this a bumper crop or something?
natures way of saying, bad winter coming......

Wow, thanks. I never heard of that group before. I have visions of potential service learning projects here for students in their own back yards.
