I'm looking to replace my gas with AC blower fireplace with a 100% gas powered version. Any recommendations on stores or vendors? Offenbachers comes to mind but they appear to be pricey...

We used Lawn and Leisure in Sterling to purchase our gas fireplace unit (converted from wood burning to gas) about 2 years ago. On right now to knock the chill out of our house!

Default any other recommendations?

Thought I'd bump this one more time; we're finishing our basement and looking for someone to do the install. Went to two different showrooms this weekend; both places said "sounds easy -- once you decide on two or three potential units just give us a call and we'll come out to give an estimate". We've decided which unit we like and now neither place is returning my phone calls.

I've called two additional showrooms and the sales reps at these have not returned my phone calls. I called a third location and they insist on us coming into the showroom despite the fact that we know which unit we like and they carry it. I feel like I'm buying a used car.

Someone out there has to be interested in making a little profit selling and/or installing this things, right?

Thanks!
