No, but I hope they are. Unless they get all the roads open in the county today and get power back on to all schools, I can't see it happening.

It's my understanding (and experience) that with PW county, Fairfax County, and Alexandria city: They will send all students back, or wait until all students can go back. If a few schools can't go back they will wait. Just like when we have snow days, the entire county can be fine getting to and from school, but if there are two schools that are more rural and so their roads aren't drive-able, they call a snow day.

however, considering how early in the season we are, I have a feeling they will do EVERYTHING they can to get them back up and running tomorrow. we've now used 2 of our 3 "free" days off....before a flake of snow has touched the ground.
