Marumsco Plaza looks a lot better these days. They look like they are trying to clean that area up but like someone else said, it's going to take years to get that area to the way where it would be attractive for people to want to move around. I can tell you over the past few years this area has drastically changed. I remember when the Five Guys was still opened, that shopping center looked ridiculous. Now you see that shopping center improving, you see new apartments, new townhomes and look at what they did to Holly Acres. If the politicians have their way that area is going to be completely different 10 years from now.

I was actually by there early this AM and was surprised. It does look like there is some improvement in the area.

I lived there between 05-07. I had no choice. I found no problems with the area whatsoever. I guess I came from a far worse area lol so it was an upgrade. The only thing that bothered me was the construction of the apartments and the townhouses...you could hear everything. I think the people were friendlier than they are in Spotsylvania (which is supposed to be all so friendly).
