Title says it all. Have you been to the movies today and was it really busy? TIA!

No, I have not. Seems odd to me that people would do that. Christmas is for church (if you're into that), socializing with family and enjoying gifts.

our custom has been to go to a movie theater on christmas eve (didn't work out this year) One year as we walked out of the theater I saw a woman in a hijab going in, and I felt a great ecumenical hopeful feeling. I wonder if she also went for chinese?

We didn't go to the movies this year, but generally we have on Christmas Day. I would expect the theaters to be fairly busy--not swamped, but busy.

seems like it. I passed by a couple multiplexes tonight and there was a steady stream of cars coming in and going out. I also passed by a McDonalds and there was a long line of cars at the drive through. McDonalds for Christmas dinner is kinda weird, but hey, to each their own

What do you think non-Christian people do on Christmas Day? The only things open are movie theaters and Chinese Buffets.

We don't go to the movies on Christmas but I know lots of people that do and there is nothing wrong with it.

Les Miserables opened today and that is what everyone is flocking to see.
