Just to let you know, I changed the channel on my router as was suggested previously....knock on wood, internet (including wireless is working great). Still thinking about changing the TV back to DISH though since I'm still unhappy with Verizon's customer service and was super happy with DISH. However, I am very, very pleased that the Internet did not drop myself or my husband last night...we'll see what happens tonight
!

Verizon's customer care for fixed line service does have a lot to be desired. I dropped them years ago for that exact reason.

I still don't know.... I am so aggravated with Verizon customer service but in getting their fees for just Internet or just Internet/phone and switching to DISH....it isn't worth it financially. Switching to Comcast is still an option though. I've only got about 6 months left in this area and can't get into any 'contracts'. The fees the Verizon guy quoted me (come to find out) require a 2 year agreement which doesn't work and they are still high. Close to $100 for Internet and Phone not including taxes and still close to $100 for just Internet...geez....
