Depends on where you work... If you work along 28 or in Fairfax or Chantilly, South Riding is closer. If you work along 267 Brambleton is closer, especially if you don't mind paying the greenway tolls.

I think the biggest downside with South Riding is Rte 50 is the only main way in and out. Brambleton has more options: Rte 50, 267, Waxpool... Know people who love both places.

Default good points

Excellent point about route 50 being the only access point for South Riding. However the downside of the greenway is that $5.10 toll.

There are multiple ways out of South Riding and I have tried them all.

Rt 50 east to Rt 28
Route 606 to the Greenway or Rt 28
Braddock Road to Rt 28
Gum Springs Road to Rt 234 to I66

Beyond the obvious reasons such as amenities, price point, and product offered this was one of the main reasons I chose South Riding over other locations.

I like both developments, but I give Brambleton a slight edge. They have a movie theatre and nice gym. I also like the location a lot better than where South Riding is.

Default Brambleton

I think Brambleton gets the edge because of the town center, where as South Riding has an old school shopping plaza feel.
