got a huge estimate from MB of alexandria for my benz and is way too espensive, 3500$ to pass va inspection any good independent shops specializing in mercedes benz with lower costs then dealer that anyone recommends?

I would recommend Luxus Mercedes Specialists in Manassas, VA. He has been in business for many years and offers very reasonable pricing. Here is a link to his website

Don Pool Mercedes in Arlington does very good work, however I do find they are very expensive too.

We used to to Heinz Kesterman in Alexandria, but we no longer have a German car. we were always happy with them. They work on a lot of Mercedes and Volvos.

Do you have an actual failed inspection sticker on the car with required work listed or is it just recommended work (ie you'll need new tires/brakes soon etc)? If your car hasn't failed yet just take it to any gas station (they'll likely pass it) and then you can budget or plan on getting whatever work you may need done over the next year.

Thanks ill try those options, I have temp sticker now I failed. Inspection and have. My abs light on and need it fixed and some other brake stuff and suspension

Have you tried Foreign Car Service in Old Town? They've been around a long time. I have no specific experience with them (don't have a MB), but they have a good reputation.
