Yes, I am referring to cars in general. A "clunker" is car that has no current tags and/or stickers and does not run for some mechanical reason.

This includes project cars, antique cars, cars currently for sale, and abandoned cars.

The car could also have been reported by a neighbor, not necessarily by the HOA.

Our neighbor has had his car towed because he forgot to get his car inspected....and then the same neighbor forgot to put the new stickers on his tags.... We caught the tow truck as he was hooking up his car and gave him $50 to not tow it....then told the neighbor he needed to put the stickers on his car asap! I think some folks just don't pay attention.

Thanks. I know I'd want the same done for me. We are pretty close with our neighbors on our street (we live in a townhouse) so it was a no brainer when my husband was in the office and yelled down to me that a tow truck was backing up to the neighbor's car.
