First time using Reagan National Airport: it looks like the hourly and daily parking garages are in the same building -- are there separate entrances for the hourly and daily parking? We will be flying American so I assume we would be parking in the B or C garage.

Yes, there are separate entrances. You have watch carefully for the signs (it's easy to miss/misread them) and the entrances are on the left, so you will want to be in the left lane as you approach. You can also check online to find out how many parking spaces are available, so you can decide how much extra time to allow for hunting for the elusive space and walking/pulling your luggage a longer distance to the terminal.

Isn't it cheaper to park in the "long term" lot and take a shuttle bus in? The entrance to that is on the right side of the airport loop.

Yes, the long term lot is cheaper but hubby does not want to wait for a shuttle.

Obviously, it's your choice. But I will say that we always park in the economy lot at DCA, and never have to wait for a shuttle. They usually see us pull in, and are waiting to pick us up by the time we get out of the car. I don't think we've ever waited longer than 5 minutes, and we use that airport several times a year.
