What are the better internet services in NOVA? Looking to just having wireless, and not cable, phone, etc. associated with it. Price is also part of the equation. Thanks.

Depends on the location. I have Verizon FiOS which is expensive but you can get up to 50Mbps down and 25 Mbps down. FiOS is a unshared fiber connection, basically you have an OC3 connection to your house and they throttle it based on what you pay for. I pay for 20 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up. Speakeasy tests show I get the speed I pay for.

The cable companies all offer fast Internet. It has been years since I used one of them so I am unfamiliar with their current technology.

I can't speak to price for internet only since I've always had a "bundle." As far as service, I have had Comcast, Verizon DSL, and Verizon FiOS. Now that I have FiOS, I will hopefully NEVER have to switch back to any of that other garbage.
