there's a Philly spots bar in Adams Morgan and Philadelphia Tavern in Manassas. On top of that, if there is a televised Philadelphia game, expect all sports bars to be loaded with Philly fans.
I'll have to research that Adams Morgan bar. It might be worth a road trip to Manassas just for that name alone. Good point about the likelihood of Philly-area transplants congregating for a nationally televised game.

actually regarding my posts about daycare:

fairfax county is holding back on ruling completely that all private homes doing daycare to lower their limits from 12 kids down to 5. i doubt most could survive with that kind of numbers. i know the town of vienna has just said limit is 5 as of now to those who run it in the towns limits.

so yea, goodluck future and current parents. blame the new zoning laws.

Two things that upset me:

1. When you come up to a traffic light stop and there are cars that are 2+ car spaces behind the car in front of them. This one totally baffles me.

2. When a car pulls out in front of you at an intersection when there isn't anyone else behind you. They couldn't wait a mere 5 seconds?

not sure where you hang out.....I'm always around a plethora of Philly fans.

and, really, as an Eagles fan, you let the Cowboy and Redskin fans crap on you?? Maybe you shouldn't be allowed near the real fans.

Only thing I can think of for #1 is they don't want to block a driveway or something like that. Sometimes that is mandated by a street sign.

Hey, I think you are still ok. I respect people who stay true and root for their hometown teams. (Rooting for all three, you have to be from Pittsburg-ish area.) This is especially true of fans who stick with teams through long periods of lean times (I always have a soft spot in my heart for true Browns fans). What irritates me are the people who randomly selected "good teams" as "their teams". Hmmm....Cowboy and Yankee fans who aren't from Dallas or NYC? Yes, I'm referring to you.
