Hey all, just wondering if the roads are any better now? I left my house in Manassas at 4am and got stuck behind a couple of plow trucks....Braddock hadn't been touched and I was hearing on WTOP about multiple accidents. Is it any better now? I decided to skip my 40 mile commute into Maryland and head to Reston instead (hope my boss is understanding).

Left Woodbridge at 5AM. Roads were very wet and covered but not "slick". The worst part, up on I95, was all the water and the huge snowflakes making me dizzy. Visibility was poor.

No problem from Chantilly to Springfield at 6 this morning via the parkway. Took about the same length of time (40-45 minutes).

Roads were fine from Woodbridge to Manassas. There were some slushy spots on the edges and turn lanes.

I got an email from FCPS saying they're two hour delayed...I was thinking of telling my sleep-in teenybopper that around 06:00...decided I didn't want a knife in the back when she figured it out (but I DO have email evidence!).

Aren't they already on Spring Break? FCPS = Fairfax?

Mad Ft Belvoir didn't close today. Last time they closed nothing happened. Now that there is like 2" of snow already on the ground with more expected, we all have to go to work

I'm mad that they didn't at least have a delay. The roads and sidewalks around where I work at Ft Belvoir were untreated. People were having a hard time walking around. The least they could have done, was wait until they cleared/treated these things before having us come.

It is all mucky slush in Arlington. Not hard to drive on. It took me longer to clear the snow off my car than to make the actual commute.
