Which insurance companies in NoVa will meet the requirements? What about someone with a NoVa address, who lives abroad most of the year? Seems very contradictory to me.

I think it's a bit soon. We don't move that fast around here.

My realtor told me I was the first person she had ever seen to pay their property taxes for 2013, before they were even billed. I told her I didn't have any doubts about them billing me. October 1 is less than 4 months away.......something tells me this is going to be a complete fiasco.

I've been paying mine since the beginning of the year with every mortgage payment and I'm sure most others have as well. Perhaps you misunderstood.

What does Obamacare have to do with property taxes?

You've been paying into an escrow account, because your mortgage company doesn't trust you to pay them. I actually had a pre-payment at the Treasurer's Office.

Wow, you must be superman, because you're the only one that holds a mortgage and doesn't pay into an escrow account. It's impressive that you can estimate your property assessment a full year in advance and choose to just pay up, like a true patriot.

You must be super upset about obamacare, which is going to somehow benefit people like you... Moderator Cut

Hint: if your tea party government fights it, your benefits will be delayed. Tea partiers only believe in taxes that are used to ruin other people's lives, not improve yours!

Surprise surprise, reality strikes conservatives again!
