I recently accepted a position in DC. It is a regular 9-5 office hour job.

Beside driving, what is the best (fastest) way to commute in the morning and evening?

Please advice. Thank you.

From what I hear, a commuter bus would be the way to go. Or slugging. Driving will take you forever unless you leave at 3AM.

(I think you mean "advise.")

Sorry to not be helpful, but what choices do you have? No metro and no VRE. Bus, slug and see if there are van pools.

Commuter bus: Loudoun County, VA - Official Website - Routes, Fares & Schedules Either Dulles North or Dulles South routes are options.

You could drive to one of the orange line metros and then ride from there. Silver line to Loudoun is still a few years away.
