Everywhere between Herndon and DC is a good place to live, but what is best for you depends on what you're looking for:

Rent budget
Commute time
Lifestyle
etc

Just to name a few places though: Herndon, Reston, Tysons Corner, McLean, Great Falls, Falls Church, Arlington, Alexandria, Springfield, Vienna, etc.

Depends on what "good" means to you. What are your priorities - budget, schools, walkability, pets, kids, public transportation, commute, type of community...

He's been here before.

Working in Herndon, VA where to live?

They are looking for a 3-4 bedroom single-family house under $500K with good schools.

They ain't gonna find it between DC and Herndon.

Check out Burke, it is a nice area with a variety of price points and about half way between Herndon and DC.

I know that in your previous post, and the one from your wife, many people here provided insight and shared their feedback on best areas in the hope to answer your question.

Do you have additional detail to share? Not sure of the reason to start a new post asking the same question? (Not meaning to sound rude but honestly am not sure what you are hoping to get out of this...again.)
