My family moved here a month ago and have been drinking bottled water. In southern california we used to get water from Glacier vending machines at 25cents/gal but they don't seem to sell drinking water that way around Clifton or Manassas Park areas. We've tried Harris Teeter, Shoppers, Walmart and Giants around here. Any ideas?

Yeah--the tap. Seriously, the water treatment here is more than adequate. We have filtered water from our fridge, but I usually just fill from the tap, because it's quicker.

I used to get filtered water from the fridge, but then it broke and my landlord won't fix it. So we buy gallons of water from target. I have tried drinking tap water and it's really gross and it makes my stomach hurt.

The tap water in the DC area is not that great; I personally like the spring water from Harris Teeter, but I also bought a small countertop distiller from Amazon and distill my own water from the tap.

Our neighbor gets deliveries from a bottled water company (I want to say Deer Park???, unsure) to his house. And, my husband's coworkers banded together at work and started a "water club"--they have those large stand water bottles delivered, and pay so much per month. I think you can get these delivered to your home as well.

Tap.

I am working on giving up bottled water due to all the plastics used.

As a born and bred Northern Virginian, it's always been tap water for me.

We drink tap water as we have a filter on our fridge. However, if that doesn't work for you, I also do DrinkMore Water at work...it was the cheapest option (after extensive research) and the water tastes great.
