We're thinking about a coffered ceiling for our kitchen. We're in the Brambleton area. Any recommendations on a contractor who could do something like this? It doesn't appear very hard (per YouTube), but beyond my skill set. Thanks!!!

For the past couple of projects (relatively tiny), I used Thumbtack.com to get estimates from contractors. It's a free service.

I used Checkbook.org for years and just went to Angieslist. I believe they are probably a little better in terms of how many services they cover.

strongly advise you buy a subscription to angieslist. there are also deals you can buy that may give you a couple hours of work at a reduced rate. if its easy enough a handyman might be skilled enough, plenty of those on angieslist as well
