6" in Alexandria/Franconia. The snow was quite heavy, though not as heavy as the snowmageddon.

Still snowing here in Winchester but light drizzly snow. Have to guess 19.0"-20.0"?

The roads are passable in the City but not where the County meets up. All I've seen on the roads are SUVs and pick - ups and people walking.

There must be a pretty sharp line. We measured between 10-11", but as I mentioned quite a bit has melted.

Looking out my front window I see someone decided to drive...and didn't make it. Looks like they're blocking the wrong lane of a side street, maybe both lanes. Guy was, when I looked, on his knees shoveling away snow from the front wheels - to his credit he thought to take a snow shovel in the car with him.

Freezing rain has been falling for awhile near National Airport. If you haven't already done so, you might want to clear the snow off your cars, etc., before the rain entirely freezes a heavy layer of snow into place.

If a plow comes up our road it's going to be pushing some heavy snow.

Yeah I heard on the news this morning that someone was outside tending to his car and the snow plow didn't see him and hit him. He was transported to the hospital but pronounced DOA.

I wonder if the plows are waiting for more snow to fall. My wife looked up the status of our street and saw one in vasnowplows.org parked with its camera on. Supposedly they keep plowing until all the roads have been done.
