Need help finding a church (McLean, Fairfax: title, non-denominational, ethnic)

Hi,

I moved here a few months ago but am having trouble finding a church. I am looking for probably a non-denominational church... I like something laid back.
I'm not Catholic, and while I appreciate the traditions and structure of Methodist/Presbyterian services... that's not really my favorite kind of service to attend. Maybe this will help you get an idea of what I'm looking for.

I've heard about the McLean Bible Church, but I don't want a mega-church either.

Anywhere in Falls Church, Vienna, McLean, or Fairfax would be best.

Have you checked out Pender United Methodist Church in Fairfax (Rt 50)? Check them out at Pender United Methodist Church - Fairfax, VA - they're pretty unconventional and try to attract the many various crowds out there.

I assume you read the thread from the last couple of days ... still on the first page but down near the bottom? After we get past the discussion of the McLean Bible Church, there are some other suggestions (even though the criteria was somewhat different, there might be some helpful names there).

Yeah, please do check that thread - titled "Multi ethnic/cultural/racial church in NoVA" - it's got some good suggestions. It's slipped to page two on this site.

To recap my own suggestion, you might find the United Church of Christ to your liking - you can search for congregations at United Church of Christ. (Disclaimer - I don't attend services at a UCC church myself)
